Biju Veetil serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Transnational Academic Group (TAG), where he leads the Group’s technology strategy and oversees the delivery of IT services across its international higher education operations. He is responsible for driving digital transformation, strengthening technology infrastructure, and ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient delivery of enterprise IT services across TAG’s campuses.
Biju joined TAG in March 2008 as IT & Technical Manager, where he was responsible for managing the Groupā€™s data, applications, network infrastructure, and media facilities. In January 2017, he was appointed as Chief Technology Officer of TAG.
Currently, Biju manages IT operations for both Curtin University Dubai and oversees IT functions for Lancaster University Ghana. He is also responsible for the management and continuous enhancement of the campus infrastructure at Curtin University Dubai.
Biju holds overall accountability for IT and infrastructure services across group campuses, driving strategic growth while overseeing day-to-day operations, budgeting, and resource management. He leads the planning, deployment, and management of enterprise technologies, including enterprise storage systems, backup and recovery solutions, database management, student information systems, CRM platforms, web and cloud services, cybersecurity, disaster recovery solutions, and enterprise monitoring and management systems, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient IT operations.
With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Biju has successfully led the implementation of numerous large scale technology projects, particularly within the banking and education sectors. His expertise lies in designing resilient enterprise systems, leading complex technology implementations, and leveraging innovation to support organizational growth and digital transformation.
