A seasoned finance executive, with over 15 years of progressive experience across finance, accounting and investment analysis, Isaac currently serves as the Chief Finance Officer of Transnational Academic Group (TAG) Ghana, which owns and operates Lancaster University Ghana. He also plays an integral role in business expansion initiatives, supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial sustainability across the Group’s operations.
He has a strong track record in both the education and non-profit sectors, where he has demonstrated his expertise in driving financial strategy, strengthening governance frameworks, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multi-country operations, including Ghana and Nigeria.
Isaac possesses extensive expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and working capital management, and grant administration. His proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) enables him to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support strategic decision-making.
In his current role, he oversees financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and working capital management, financial reporting, audit and statutory compliance, cash flow management, and enterprise risk management.
Having progressed steadily through the roles of Assistant Finance Manager, Finance Manager, and now Chief Finance Officer, he brings in a uniquely comprehensive perspective shaped by hands-on experience at every level of the finance function. This progression has enabled him with valuable insight the operational complexities of financial management and the broader strategic priorities required to support long-term institutional growth.
Prior to joining TAG, Isaac held senior finance roles at Right To Play International West and Francophone Africa, where he played a key role in securing and managing multimillion-dollar donor funding, enhancing financial systems, and supporting cross-border financial operations. Earlier in his career, he worked with Black Star Advisors, a private equity firm, where he developed expertise in financial modelling, portfolio management, and investment analysis.
