Transnational Academic Group, in partnership with Lancaster University UK, delivers British undergraduate, postgraduate and foundation programmes at its campus in Ghana.  As we move onto the next exciting phase of our mission to develop African leaders of tomorrow, we are seeking an experienced, proactive, and dynamic professional who will be responsible for delivering high quality corporate engagement activities that projects a positive image of Lancaster University Ghana to corporate entities and enhance top-of-mind brand awareness of the University.

The Role                                

  • Build relationships with industry, businesses, NGO’s and Not for Profit Organisations in Ghana and abroad.
  • Present the company to prospective employers and seek appropriate new placement opportunities both nationally and internationally.
  • Develop and nurture on-going relationships with, Corporates, Embassies, NGO’s etc. to ensure long term partnership and ROI.
  • Attend corporate networking events.
  • Organise Corporate events such as the Business Breakfast etc
  • Keep and maintain detailed and accurate records of all stakeholder engagement, SLAs, MOUs, and employers.
  • Coordinate and facilitate EMBA Master Classes, Consultancy Challenge, seminars and workshops (Internal and External).
  • Develop comprehensive corporate and employer relations strategy.
  • Identify and keep up to date on competitor activities in relation to corporate relationships and activities.
  • Assist with special projects or needs as and when required.
  • Attend corporate conferences and events on behalf of the University\TAG as required.
  • Assist admissions office and student affairs office with institutional engagement and proactive growth performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain important corporate leads that may inure to the benefit of the University.
  • Provide regular updates on the developments in the corporate environment that the university can leverage on or may have dire consequences for the university.
  • Work with the coordinator for CPD to explore training and skills enhancement opportunities for corporate institutions.
  • Promote the EMBA programme to corporate institutions and thought leaders.
  • Engage with business development managers, or equivalents, in other Universities and work collegiately to assure the University achieves its targets and realizes identified opportunities of CPD courses, EMBA student recruitment, undergraduate student recruitment, and promotion of the overall image of the university.

 

Qualification and Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences or in a related discipline.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; particularly PPT & Excel
  • Professional Certification in any of the above disciplines will be an advantage.
  • Experience (3 years minimum) working on school engagements and developing business in a tertiary institution will be an advantage.
  • Significant knowledge and working experience in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Marketing Communications and Public Relations.
  • Proven ability to take the initiative to develop new contacts and manage large client portfolio.
  • Good understanding of Higher Education Institution needs and respond to them.
