The Role

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of student accommodation facilities.
  • Coordinate and enforce accommodation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Handle student inquiries, complaints, and requests, providing prompt and efficient customer service.
  • Manager will have to liaise with Finance and keep accurate records of occupancy, payments, and maintenance requests.
  • Coordinate and supervise the allocation of accommodation to students, ensuring fair and efficient assignment processes.
  • Collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders to address accommodation-related issues and concerns.
  • Conduct regular inspections of accommodation facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
  • Coordinate and monitor maintenance and repair activities, working closely with maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in student accommodation management and apply knowledge to improve processes and services.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on accommodation-related matters for management and relevant stakeholders.

 

Qualification and Experience 

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., hospitality, education, psychology, social work) is preferred.
  • Experience working in a student accommodation setting or a similar residential environment is desirable.
  • Proven experience in the hospitality industry, including hostel services and operations.
  • First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
