In 2013, Shweta Wahi began her foray into the education sector as an active Director of CMA Investment Holdings – her family’s business that stretches across three business verticals in Asia and Africa. She entered at a grassroots level in Marketing for Transnational Academic Group (TAG), formerly Global Institute Middle East, the operating partner of Murdoch University Dubai, pioneering key activations in social media and student life. In subsequent years, she played a crucial role in launching Curtin University Dubai’s brand and engaging with regional stakeholders to qualify it as one of the top ranked academic institutions in MENA. Her current role as Manager – Strategy and Special Projects places her in TAG’s global project development team, overseeing partnerships across Africa, Europe and Australia. Shweta is also part of TAG’s board of directors, involved with project feasibility and corporate governance.
Prior to joining the group, Shweta spent over 15 years in the fashion industry as a stylist, photographer, make-up artist, wardrobe assistant, assistant designer and finally through her own label, “Shweta Wahi Creations” (SW), in 2008.

Aligned to her passion for the industry, she awarded several scholarships for fashion design studies, including contributions to the Mauritius Design Council. Her label is also a benefactor to charitable causes supported by her family’s trust.
