Daniel Adkins is currently responsible for overseeing the operations of international university branch campuses in Dubai and Ghana, which were established through strategic partnerships with Curtin University and Lancaster University respectively. Progressing to the role of President and Group Senior Executive Officer in 2025, he has led the organization for more than 17 years, driving its growth and strengthening its reputation as a leading provider of transnational higher education across emerging markets.
Daniel joined Transnational Academic Group (TAG) in 2009 as a faculty member, teaching across the schools of Business, Law, and Information Technology. Prior to joining the Higher Education industry, Daniel spent the first 21 years of his career working in the Information Technology industry providing management consulting services to leading international organizations, including IBM, Dell, VISA, Hershey’s, Coca-Cola, Clorox, Philips, and Merck. During this time, he held numerous Senior Executive Management positions including Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), leading technology transformation, organizational strategy, and business operations.
Daniel holds an Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Research from the Edinburgh Business School of Heriot Watt University. He has continued his love for learning by acquiring professional certifications in Project Management, Quality Assurance and Cyber-security. His research focus has been on pedagogy, curriculum design, and application of technology to enhance teaching, learning and student outcomes.Â
